Position Overview

Partnership Employment is partnered with a well-established, Oil and Gas company to find a Compensation & HRIS Analyst. This is a newly created, high-visibility role that sits at the intersection of HR data and compensation strategy, with real influence over decision-making, workforce planning, and pay equity across a global organization.

About the Opportunity

This is a dual-function role combining HRIS ownership with hands-on compensation work. You'll be the primary point of contact for HR systems while also supporting compensation planning, benchmarking, and analysis. With the company in a post-integration phase, you'll play a key part in standardizing processes and aligning practices across business units. You'll support compensation for two distinct populations: internal employees and an international expatriate group, giving the role real breadth.

What You'll Do

HRIS Management & Optimization

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HR systems
  • Maintain data integrity across employee records, organizational structures, and reporting fields
  • Manage system updates, workflows, and process improvements
  • Partner with IT and external vendors on system enhancements and troubleshooting
  • Generate and analyze HR reports for leadership (headcount, turnover, workforce metrics)

Compensation Analysis & Administration

  • Support compensation planning cycles, including annual reviews, merit increases, and bonus tracking
  • Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to keep pay structures competitive
  • Maintain salary bands, job leveling, and internal equity
  • Analyze compensation data and provide insights to HR leadership
  • Support audits and ensure compliance with compensation policies

Reporting, Analytics & Process Improvement

  • Build and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports and dashboards
  • Translate HR data into actionable insights for leadership
  • Identify trends across compensation, headcount, and workforce metrics
  • Help standardize HR processes across recently integrated teams
  • Ensure accuracy and confidentiality of sensitive employee and compensation data

What We're Looking For

  • At least 5 years of experience in compensation analysis, HRIS administration, or HR analytics
  • Strong systems exposure paired with hands-on compensation experience (planning, analysis, or benchmarking)
  • Oil & gas or energy industry background
  • HRIS implementation experience is ideal
  • UKG experience strongly preferred
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, complex formulas)
  • International compensation experience, including global benchmarking and pay structures
  • Ability to manage and interpret large data sets with high attention to detail
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field highly preferred
  • Knowledge of SQL or data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus

Compensation & Perks

  • Base salary of $110K to $120K
  • Annual bonus
  • Three PPO medical plan options
  • 401(k) with a 3% match plus an additional 3 to 4% company contribution
  • Profit sharing
  • 12 paid holidays plus 2 additional holidays
  • Free breakfast every Thursday, holiday parties, and regular employee events
  • A conservative, family-oriented culture with heavy tenure and a genuine commitment to its people

Why This Role

This role matters. You'll act as the bridge between HR data and compensation strategy, with a direct impact on how the organization makes decisions and ensures pay equity. It's a chance to bring fresh eyes to a newly created position and shape it into your own, all within a stable company that has been around for 50 years and truly takes care of its employees.

Job Search Strategies for 2026: How to Get Hired in an AI-Driven Market

The job hunt no longer rewards effort. It rewards strategy. If you have applied to dozens of roles this year and heard nothing back, the problem probably is not you. The market itself has shifted. Recruiters now see more than 300 applications for a single opening, roughly triple what they saw five years ago. The […]

Is Your Compensation Package Actually Competitive in 2026?

The headline numbers look encouraging. Nominal wages rose 4.1% year-over-year through early 2026 while inflation ran at 2.4%, the first sustained period in several years where worker pay has technically outpaced rising prices. And yet 62% of employed Americans say their income has not kept up with their household expenses, according to a Bankrate survey […]

When the Algorithm Screens Out Your Best Hire

AI in recruiting has moved from experiment to standard practice in a remarkably short window. Roughly 43% of organizations worldwide used AI for HR and recruiting tasks in 2025, up from just 26% the year before. Hiring teams cite real efficiency gains: faster resume screening, reduced time on scheduling, and broader reach across candidate pools. […]
