Position Summary
We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our Credit & Collections team. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers regarding account inquiries, payment arrangements, account balances, and billing concerns. Key Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound customer calls regarding account balances, payment inquiries, and collection-related matters.
- Assist customers with setting up payment arrangements and resolving outstanding account issues.
- Research and respond to customer questions regarding billing, payments, and account status.
- Accurately document all customer interactions and account activity in the company database.
- Maintain compliance with company policies and applicable credit and collections regulations.
- Process payments and update account information as needed.
- Work collaboratively with internal departments to resolve customer concerns and discrepancies.
- Meet established productivity, quality, and customer service metrics.
- Follow up with customers regarding payment commitments and account resolutions.
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and financial information.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1+ year of customer service, call center, collections, or related experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle difficult conversations with professionalism and empathy.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data entry systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of billing, payments, or collections processes is preferred.
