Senior Analyst – Business Transformation & Integrated Management Systems (IMS)

Location: Houston, TX
Schedule: Full-Time | Flexible Work Hours
Compensation: $100,000–$110,000 base salary + annual bonus + profit sharing

About the Opportunity

Our client, a global leader in the energy industry, is seeking a Senior Analyst – Business Transformation & Integrated Management Systems (IMS) to join its corporate team in Houston.

This newly created position offers the opportunity to drive strategic initiatives, business performance, process improvement, and enterprise project management across a highly collaborative organization. You'll partner with leaders throughout the business to improve operational performance, develop key performance indicators (KPIs), support strategic planning, and lead continuous improvement initiatives that have enterprise-wide impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support enterprise strategy execution through business analysis, strategic planning, and performance management initiatives.
  • Facilitate strategic planning activities using business frameworks such as SWOT, PESTEL, and VRIO.
  • Develop, monitor, and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure organizational performance.
  • Partner with business leaders to establish goals, monitor results, and develop corrective action plans.
  • Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and presentations that communicate operational and strategic performance.
  • Support enterprise project management activities, including project planning, scope definition, risk management, status reporting, and project governance.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency, standardization, and business transformation.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, policies, standards, workflows, and process maps.
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, improvement opportunities, and business risks.
  • Support internal and external audits while ensuring compliance with organizational management systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement sustainable business process improvements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with corporate objectives and industry best practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Accounting, Statistics, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business transformation, process improvement, integrated management systems, project management, or operational excellence.
  • Experience implementing management systems and enterprise process improvement initiatives.
  • Demonstrated experience developing, monitoring, and analyzing KPIs and business performance metrics.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Microsoft Project and Visio.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with executives, business leaders, and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree.
  • PMP certification.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification.
  • Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) or Integrated Management Systems (IMS).
  • Knowledge of risk management methodologies.
  • Experience with Power BI, VBA, or Alteryx.
  • Experience supporting strategic planning, enterprise PMO, or business performance management functions.
