About the Role
Seeking an experienced individual for the role of Legal Administrative Assistant for its Tax & Estate Planning and Real Estate Services attorneys for its Frisco office. This position reports to the Office Manager, as well as assigned attorneys, and will work as part of a team.  

Required Skills and Experience
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 3+ years of legal administrative experience, with experience supporting Estate Planning and/or Real Estate;
  • Providing the requisite legal secretarial and administrative support and clerical needs to assigned attorneys;
  • Facilitate the life cycle of estate planning process;
  • Preparing letters, memos, and other legal documentation;
  • Entering client information into the system to run conflicts checks for new clients, as well as preparation of supporting documentation such as engagement letters;
  • Preparing and filing pleadings with the appropriate court system and docketing dates into a central docketing system, as needed;
  • Making travel arrangements and preparing expense reimbursement documentation;
  • Supporting other legal support services 
  • Answering the phones of assigned attorneys; and
  • Entering attorney time.
Preferred Skills
  • A track record of excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing the highest quality client service are strongly preferred.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of high school diploma or GED required;
  • Excellent computer skills utilizing all aspects of Office 365;
  • Excellent attention to detail with superb proofreading skills;
  • Ability to prioritize and manage a high-volume and diverse workload able to handle multiple tasks at one time with exceptional organizational skills.  
  • Must have sound judgment and business acumen when interacting with clients, potential clients, guests, coworkers, and others; and
  • Certified Legal Secretary designation is a plus.
Pay Range and Compensation Package
The salary range at the time of posting is $31.25 - $36.05 hourly/$65,000 - $75,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition, Ability to participate in health insurance with optional HSA/FSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, 401K, vacation, sick time, parking/public transportation allowance, and an employee assistance program.
