About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a growing, multi-entity organization seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support day-to-day HR operations and help build scalable people processes across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys variety, likes being hands-on, and wants broad exposure across recruiting, employee relations, benefits, HR operations, and employee experience initiatives.

The ideal candidate is someone who can step in, operate independently, and take ownership of HR activities while partnering closely with leadership to support a growing organization.

Position Overview

Reporting to HR leadership, the Human Resources Generalist will support multiple areas of HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, HR systems, compliance, and employee engagement.

This is a highly visible role that requires someone comfortable balancing priorities, solving problems, and building relationships across departments.

Key Responsibilities

Recruiting & Talent Acquisition

  • Coordinate full-cycle recruitment activities including postings, candidate communication, interview scheduling, and offer administration
  • Partner with managers and leadership on hiring needs and workforce planning
  • Maintain recruiting metrics, candidate pipelines, and hiring documentation
  • Support onboarding and create a positive new hire experience
  • Maintain and update job descriptions and recruiting materials

Employee Relations & HR Support

  • Serve as a trusted HR resource for employee questions and day-to-day HR support
  • Partner with managers on performance concerns, coaching conversations, and employee matters
  • Support employee relations issues, investigations, documentation, corrective actions, and separations
  • Assist with performance management and employee development initiatives
  • Promote employee engagement and positive workplace culture

Benefits & Leave Administration

  • Support benefit enrollments, changes, and employee communications
  • Assist employees with benefit questions and administration processes
  • Coordinate leave tracking and related documentation
  • Support annual enrollment and ongoing benefits administration

HR Operations & Compliance

  • Maintain employee records, HRIS systems, personnel files, and organizational documentation
  • Coordinate background checks and pre-employment activities
  • Support HR reporting, audits, and process improvements
  • Assist with handbook updates, policy administration, and compliance activities
  • Ensure accurate completion of employment documentation and recordkeeping

Employee Experience

  • Support employee events, training coordination, recognition initiatives, and culture-building efforts
  • Contribute to maintaining a collaborative, employee-focused environment

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • Experience supporting recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits, and HR operations
  • Comfortable operating in a hands-on HR environment with shifting priorities
  • Strong judgment, communication skills, and ability to handle confidential matters
  • Experience with HRIS platforms required; Paycom experience preferred
  • Knowledge of employment practices and HR operations

Work Environment

This is an onsite position to start to support onboarding, partnership with leadership, and learning the business. Flexibility may be introduced over time based on performance, business needs, and tenure in the role.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $75,000-$85,000
  • Bonus opportunity up to 7%
  • Annual merit increase opportunity
